LIGHT THERAPY FOR REINDEER?
No one believed or understood it at the time, but that Red Nose of his was far more powerful than was apparent back then.
Fortunately, the fantastic benefits and workings of Red Light Therapy are becoming better known, even though it sure took long enough for the word to get out! To that point, this is why we wanted to publish our theory on the reason all the reindeer really loved Rudolph!
Our ‘working’ theory (and it makes total sense when all things are considered) is that Rudolph’s nose was a combination of Red and Near-Infrared light. The exact wavelength and specific nanometers were most likely in the 660~880 nanometer range.
It would explain the ability to maintain stamina, have rapid muscle recovery, relieve any pain that crept up, and maintain focus for finding all those houses before there were phones with GPS!
Santa wasn’t totally aware of how that bright red nose could come in handy, so he probably never really thought about Rudolph not being accepted. Just because he was different from all the other reindeer? Preposterous! Being different should be embraced as a wonderful thing!
So, now that Red Light and its wonderful benefits have been demonstrated, and Santa, wanting to be known as the modern CEO that keeps up and adapts with the changing times, felt that the timing was appropriate to let everyone in on Rudolph’s secret.
People have been enamored with Santa and his reindeer since 1863. It’s been a lot of years that Rudolph didn’t get the credit he deserved. So, combining the ‘true’ story of why all the Reindeer really loved him, and how they were able to keep such a grueling schedule of deliveries on Christmas Eve (the original Amazon, this ancient team is) needs to be revealed.
Rudolph’s source of energy and great attitude? His NOSE! Not only did it Light The Way, it also provided on-the-spot rejuvenation, helped sore hooves get over miscalculated roof lines that caused scrapes and bruises, kept him (and all of the other Reindeer) looking his absolute best, and explain how he maintained the energy of an almost puppy-like (hmm, wonder what a young, growing reindeer is called…?) reindeer!
And THAT my friends, is the real reason All Of The Reindeer Loved Him!
So, although it’s a story that is relatable for the Holiday Season, Red Light Therapy works ALL YEAR for all the reasons that made Rudolph a star.
